</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhI40qBdwwQ39UyMOu2XnIIB6Aj1oJX8InbT4Dhu_JeAo5-CM7_Kff4Lur7oRrJP2hBuG_dx6wP2mRhLJuQpfejbqXsbBjOcX6hwLplHdf_PX8wBCB42wrIq5s7NMoPPspWAEjwjMCIjInN/s1600/collage.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="139" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhI40qBdwwQ39UyMOu2XnIIB6Aj1oJX8InbT4Dhu_JeAo5-CM7_Kff4Lur7oRrJP2hBuG_dx6wP2mRhLJuQpfejbqXsbBjOcX6hwLplHdf_PX8wBCB42wrIq5s7NMoPPspWAEjwjMCIjInN/s640/collage.png" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<i>worspace:mylayer</i>).
<div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>

<h3>
Gestione delle utenze</h3>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<h3>
</h3>
<h3>
Gestione dei ruoli</h3>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<h3>
Gestione delle restrizioni per Area</h3>
<div>

<h3>
Gestione delle restrizioni per Attributo</h3>
</div>
<div>
<div>

<h3>
Gestione delle restrizioni basate su filtri CQL</h3>
</div>
<div>

<iframe allowfullscreen="true" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/4MVKK6uyrIY/0.jpg" frameborder="0" height="450px" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/4MVKK6uyrIY?feature=player_embedded" width="100%"></iframe></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #666666; font-family: Nunito; font-size: 14px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #666666; font-family: Nunito; font-size: 14px;">
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #666666; font-family: Nunito; font-size: 14px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #666666; font-family: Nunito; font-size: 14px;">
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #666666; font-family: Nunito; font-size: 14px;">
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #666666; font-family: Nunito; font-size: 14px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #666666; font-family: Nunito; font-size: 14px;">
<div style="background-color: white; box-sizing: border-box; color: #666666; font-family: Nunito; font-size: 14px;">

<br />
<h2>
Modalità di import</h2>
Oggi è possibile importare fil CSV nei geoportali basati su Geo-Platform, in varie modalità:<br />
<br />
<b>
- <u>File CSV contenente Latitudine e Longitudine</u></b><br />
<div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/XDWWGOgJotU/0.jpg" frameborder="0" height="320" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/XDWWGOgJotU?feature=player_embedded" width="90%"></iframe></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgocPkMMZOwdBHEPZL9Zbly7W0TcvB7dtZRaInsyqXWwGSzaqq-AcBRieCnIBpFuAjkkfMzpQ7QoxECreGajz8Fo_oB6BYqkCovV44znNA2EJukauIrADifR7fjUBNxbbqtFM3pTlcq9_L/s1600/Schermata+2017-04-12+alle+16.54.42.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="132" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgocPkMMZOwdBHEPZL9Zbly7W0TcvB7dtZRaInsyqXWwGSzaqq-AcBRieCnIBpFuAjkkfMzpQ7QoxECreGajz8Fo_oB6BYqkCovV44znNA2EJukauIrADifR7fjUBNxbbqtFM3pTlcq9_L/s200/Schermata+2017-04-12+alle+16.54.42.png" width="200" /></a>Il widgets prova ad individuare automaticamente quali attributi utilizzare e, qualora la selezione automatica fosse errata, l'utente può indicare manualmente quali colonne interpretare come lat e long.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<h4>
</h4>
<b>
- <u>File CSV contenente Indirizzi</u></b><br />
<div>
<br />
<div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: right;">

<iframe allowfullscreen="" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/lgyjWHRlBT8/0.jpg" frameborder="0" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/lgyjWHRlBT8?feature=player_embedded" height="320" width="90%"></iframe></div>
<h2>
<br />

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/63uvourNyks/0.jpg" frameborder="0" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/63uvourNyks?feature=player_embedded" height="320" width="90%"></iframe></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<h2>

<br />
Tornare alla Street View precedente?<br />
<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
<h2>

<div>

<div>
<div>
<h3>
Nuovi layer "from scratch"</h3>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<iframe allowfullscreen="" class="YOUTUBE-iframe-video" data-thumbnail-src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/wAaF6guMgDo/0.jpg" frameborder="0" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/wAaF6guMgDo?feature=player_embedded" height="320" width="90%"></iframe></div>
<h3>
Definizione della struttura</h3>
<div>
<div>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCWipIgJYpRtM_VzgVUiJO4om3guR7fwBFe0UIZwGrDzMaTs457LyihLA808hsOEmR61rHdwKesuPV-Gsm_q2J6YaJg8cG4ECX81j9xgf9BmWduwPSARSrem-EA66941OfHqB2DpLdTmwr/s1600/Schermata+2017-04-10+alle+11.58.26.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="110" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCWipIgJYpRtM_VzgVUiJO4om3guR7fwBFe0UIZwGrDzMaTs457LyihLA808hsOEmR61rHdwKesuPV-Gsm_q2J6YaJg8cG4ECX81j9xgf9BmWduwPSARSrem-EA66941OfHqB2DpLdTmwr/s200/Schermata+2017-04-10+alle+11.58.26.png" width="200" /></a><br />
<ul>
</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
</div>
<h3>
Selezione workspace</h3>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbuUUmaJhuK05zO8aMAiX66ypchWCzS_5jHIKDTbrsni8Dq5sCnCweAfPn_tMTlfog8u-SvCEL9KH7Fvss5YreUk5fwY0vyDW20qneN5PlkEIRLHVnodg7apIKru5bIhGnB0yZr0QZPJni/s1600/Schermata+2017-04-10+alle+11.58.54.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="70" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbuUUmaJhuK05zO8aMAiX66ypchWCzS_5jHIKDTbrsni8Dq5sCnCweAfPn_tMTlfog8u-SvCEL9KH7Fvss5YreUk5fwY0vyDW20qneN5PlkEIRLHVnodg7apIKru5bIhGnB0yZr0QZPJni/s200/Schermata+2017-04-10+alle+11.58.54.png" width="200" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<h3>
Il layer è pronto. Non resta che "popolarlo"</h3>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiW1RstSAhk5XBMLbKJDqLG2qjoNIIegDLam-m2zKTOzz16W56eGgosn_EoPt67D8bL0hgVrymUzKlpb9XBm7XV2ObSDO5z9AARLvnmubKG0YDMsG6GXPVdULz7r_Fcy9KVSUWQYQTs6tig/s1600/Schermata+2017-04-10+alle+12.00.04.png" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="121" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiW1RstSAhk5XBMLbKJDqLG2qjoNIIegDLam-m2zKTOzz16W56eGgosn_EoPt67D8bL0hgVrymUzKlpb9XBm7XV2ObSDO5z9AARLvnmubKG0YDMsG6GXPVdULz7r_Fcy9KVSUWQYQTs6tig/s200/Schermata+2017-04-10+alle+12.00.04.png" width="200" /></a></div>

<br />
<br />
)<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div>
<br />

<h3>
Il Progetto</h3>
<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq" style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<h3 style="text-align: justify;">
L'adozione delle tecnologie open source geoSDI</h3>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.ulule.com/mnow/" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="146" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3ioN9Ch03ovxsM3c0e9FgSnsc8Pu41dj7mkqFibTnXgXWX8M8VVmEVC-9D63l_PflqHE0gejrVRiZU1ScdBAvW72VcqINLITrILQT1DjPCVW5vahPU6cq2HGLJ81OGv7noO8AFbK0Oo8s/s200/mn1.png" width="200" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-style: italic;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<h3>
Il CrowdFunding</h3>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
The project</h3>
<br />
<blockquote class="tr_bq">
"An Innovative Service for Sharing knowledge of the updated Terms of Mountain using new generation cards every day of the year, everywhere in the Alps."</blockquote>
This is the aim of the project <b><a href="http://ulule.com/mnow/" target="_blank">MountaiNow</a></b> created by <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/amassacand" target="_blank">Alexia Massacand</a>, Senior Expert in Sustainability and Climate Change, and for which <b>geoSDI technology was adopted</b>.<br />
<br />
<b><a href="http://was%20adopted/" target="_blank">MountaiNow</a></b> born with the spirit <i>to make outings’ preparation always easier and more efficient</i> - bringing a new generation of information and working together with Alpine Clubs as well asexisting mountain tools like Camp-to-Camp, la Chamoniarde (OHM), Hikr, GeoResQ, Gipfelbuch, Gulliver, and Outdooractive.<br />
<br />
<h3>
The adoption of open source technologies by geoSDI</h3>
Since long time <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/amassacand" target="_blank">Alexia Massacand</a> is in contact with the geoSDI Laboratory Team to learn about the geo-localized information management technologies and to apply them in various scientific fields.<br />
The idea of this project was born in Alexia "<i>slaloming (new) giant crevasses that had occurred in the mountains last summer</i>", and in her mind it seemed instantly as <b>a fantastic scope of geoSDI technologies</b>, absolutely <b>free of charge</b> for all users of the service and mountain lovers.<br />
<br />
<a href="http://www.ulule.com/mnow/" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;" target="_blank"><img border="0" height="146" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh3ioN9Ch03ovxsM3c0e9FgSnsc8Pu41dj7mkqFibTnXgXWX8M8VVmEVC-9D63l_PflqHE0gejrVRiZU1ScdBAvW72VcqINLITrILQT1DjPCVW5vahPU6cq2HGLJ81OGv7noO8AFbK0Oo8s/s200/mn1.png" width="200" /></a><br />
Through smartphones, in seconds, mountain lovers sharing what they see during their excursions, to strengthen the safety of those who attend it. A "living map", instantly fed from the information provided by those who are in the mountains, which provides "the ultimate conditions" all over the Alps, including <b>photos</b> and <b>geo-localized warning</b>.<br />
<br />
<br />
<h3>
The CrowdFunding</h3>
A C<b><a href="http://ulule.com/mnow/" target="_blank">rowdfunding</a></b> campaign was launched on the Ulule.com platform to support the development of the project. <b>Rewards</b> are also provided <b>for contributors</b>: from the simple inclusion in the "<i>Thank-you</i>" of the Project Site (for the minimum contribution of 5 €) to <i>gadgets</i> for contributions up to a few hundred euros, to "<i>A surprise day in the Alps</i>" , reserved for supporters who give contributions in excess of € 2,000.<br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div>
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEDlQyKnJ1q-97AIs1WxOcHRoMAQjl_HGq5ojTdnfVmEHQw6b2SsmESgkAV2IVE7Q6NEDu5AAhDnrEnQaqLG7LN-Cjmg2rNqmEalSHUA51b00_pvELc2B2uK4WPzid-ZRCOQw3aoIUaewg/s1600/IMG_20160310_095032.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEDlQyKnJ1q-97AIs1WxOcHRoMAQjl_HGq5ojTdnfVmEHQw6b2SsmESgkAV2IVE7Q6NEDu5AAhDnrEnQaqLG7LN-Cjmg2rNqmEalSHUA51b00_pvELc2B2uK4WPzid-ZRCOQw3aoIUaewg/s200/IMG_20160310_095032.jpg" width="150" /></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
The <b>Geospatial Information Section</b> (<b>UNGIS</b>) and the I<b>nformation and Communications Technology Division</b> (<b>ICTD</b>) of the United Nations <b>Department of Field Support</b> (<b>DFS</b>) decided to pursue the necessary efforts to identify the role that open source geospatial technologies could play in support of peacekeeping operations of the United Nations, calling the initiative <b><i>UN OpenGIS</i></b>.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The initiative aims to develop an enterprise GIS system using geospatial free and open source solutions, in support of United Nations peacekeeping operations.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In order to turn ideas and concepts into concrete actions and to federate efforts, a 5-day technical seminar (6-10 March 2016) was organized at the <b>United Nations Logistics Base</b> (<b>UNLB</b>) in <b>Brindisi</b>, with the active participation of experts from Member States, the academic and professional organizations, and UN agencies along with GIS experts from the UN peacekeeping operations.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>geoSDI,</b> as laboratory of the <b>National Council of Research of Italy</b> (<b>CNR</b>) and the Competence Centre for Spatial Data Infrastructures, took part in the Italian delegation, participating in the planning meetings and showing examples of operating systems developed with Geo-Platform framework, such as the Geographic Information System of the Department of Civil Protection of the Prime Minister's Office in Italy and the Early Warning Console for Meteorological, Seismic and Fires risks, to support WFP in Palestine.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The aim of the OpenGIS the United Nations is to identify and develop a GIS Open Source package that meets the requirements of United Nations operations, taking full advantage of the expertise of partners (partner nations, technological partners, international organizations, universities, NGOs, industry private).</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The Laboratory <b>geoSDI is therefore part of the working group</b>, particularly the task of defining and implementing the content management platform, data sharing, geospatial data visualization and access management, to plan for full interoperability and compatibility with existing systems at the offices and UN agencies.</div>

(Multimedia Information for Territorial Objects).</b></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The President of ISPRA Bernardo De Bernardinis thanked the CNR and the geoSDI laboratory that "<i>took part in the project by giving inputs for the building of the platform.</i>" How then reiterated Valter Sambucini, responsible of the MITO project for ISPRA, a key element in the realization of the project was "<i>the adoption of <b>Geo-Platform</b> and <b>geoSDI technology</b> that provided the engine of the platform in the direction of integration of information from scientific </i><i>validated </i><i>sources and from diffuse sources of citizen science</i>".</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
The project has seen the creation of a network of laboratories specializing in the management of infrastructures for spatial information - as defined in the Legislative Decree 27 January 2010, n. 32 (Implementation of Directive 2007/2 / EC establishing an Infrastructure for Spatial Information in Europe - INSPIRE). More specifically, the project MITO assumes as an operating horizon that of <i>long-term digital preservation</i> of local knowledge and in particular of the products / results of research activities, through the use of open and standard solutions, usable in a framework of cooperation with other national institutions and in line with the recommendations of Horizon 2020. MITO Project Partners were the Institute for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA), the Polytechnic of Bari, Parthenope University of Naples, the University of Naples "Federico II", the University of Salerno, the Second University of Naples.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
All project partners have taken the opportunity of the event organized by ISPRA to present the results achieved with the adoption of the platform.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Following the illustrative moments, a debate was opened looking to the future, starting by the intervention of <b>Dimitri Dello Buono</b> on the emanations that the adoption of open source technologies has already caused in Local, National and International contexts.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
Examples include I.ter project in Campania Region (Registry of entities and territorial events), the update and the integration with the results of M.I.T.O. of SITDPC system, the Department of Civil Protection Geographic Information System, the use of the framework contribution in the National Plans of Military Research (PNRM), the adoption of interoperable technologies services and NoSQL storage in Early Warning Systems developed in collaboration with the United Nations.</div>

(the HEAD request that initiates the submission is a URL of the form: .../submission?deviceID=imei%3A9117DD011813771 ). The geoSDI Aggregate server does not store this deviceID in any database tables, but it will generally be emitted into the webserver access log. This deviceID uniquely identifies the device from which the data is submitted. This can be useful when correlating events on the server with interactions from specific devices. Because this is logged, it is likely that a submission can be correlated with a device, and therefore a data collector.<br />If geoSDI ODKAggregate is configured to require authentication (username / password or Google account) for submission (i.e., the Data Collector permission is NOT granted to the anonymousUser), then the username (or Google account) that authenticated is written into the audit fields of the data tables storing the submission. If the anonymousUser is granted Data Collector privileges, no authentication is performed, and "anonymousUser" is written into those fields.<div>
The content of these audit fields is not exposed in exported CSV files, or published to downstream systems. However, because it is present in the database tables, you can definitely correlate this authenticated username or Google account with the submitted data.</div>

<div class="p1">
<div class="p2">
<span class="s1"></span><br /></div>
<div class="p1">

<span class="s1"></span><br /></div>
<div class="p1">
<span class="s1">Il feedback è stato davvero positivo. Mettendo insieme i commenti raccolti, sono emersi come principali punti:</span></div>
<h4>
<span class="s1">PROS E OBIETTIVI RAGGIUNTI</span></h4>
<div class="p1">
</div>
<ul>
</ul>
<br />
<h4>
<span class="s1">ELEMENTI MIGLIORABILI</span></h4>
<div class="p1">
</div>
<ul>

<span style="text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<span style="text-align: justify;">"A<i>n experience to increase the capacity of its staff in all fields of knowledge, to provide the best service to the public through qualified experts</i>"
As said by the Brigadier General Yousef Nassar, deputy director of the PCD (Palestinian Civil Defence) speaking about the three days of training and simulation on Information Management Tools (geoSDI, GRASP, Web Portal) conducted by WFP (with the support of the Italian geoSDI team) for 33 officials of various departments of the PCD.
The third day was the one which made the most of the activities; in addition to completing the simulation (organizing teams to work towards the prevention and response of high precipitation and intensity, with the use of the three Information Management Tools) a session was held for the participants to compare findings, methods and tools. Each of the three groups has produced a short report on the activities conducted during the simulation, showing how much has been learned and what can be improved- both terms of the software used, the general organization to implement for future simulations. Possibly extending the number of participants on the field.
The feedback has been very positive. From the comments collected we've synthesized the main points: </span><br />
<span style="text-align: justify;"><br /></span>
<h4>
<span style="text-align: justify;"> PROS AND ACHIEVEMENTS</span></h4>
<br />
<ul>
<li><span style="text-align: justify;">An understanding was reached in the use of the Integrated System of the three Information Management Tools (geoSDI, GRASP, Web Portal) </span></li>
<li><span style="text-align: justify;">Skills necessary were acquired for the use of IT tools for better management of the phases of alert, emergency management and post-emergency. </span></li>
<li><span style="text-align: justify;">The set up of the simulation allows the training to project the use of the tools in daily work
there was active participation in the exercises and simulation activities</span></li>
<li><span style="text-align: justify;">The structure of the simulation also allowed to work on coordination of the competence of the departments </span></li>
<li><span style="text-align: justify;">The instruments used have allowed us to produce scenarios, maps and reports quickly and without the need to be in the office/HQ- in the case of applications accessed via the Web with only a web browser.</span></li>
</ul>

<span style="text-align: justify;">POSSIBLE IMPROVEMENTS </span></h4>
<br />
<ul>
<li><span style="text-align: justify;">The integration of geoSDI and GRASP(which provides mobile tools for the collection of data in the filed) was greatly appreciated, and was suggested the working together we could create more forms of data collection
During the simulation, two laptops were provided to each group. </span></li>
<li><span style="text-align: justify;">In terms of this it was suggested that more laptops be made available for future simulations to make sure everyone has more chance to practice and experiment </span></li>
<li><span style="text-align: justify;">T</span><span style="text-align: justify;">he experience was described as "exciting" and would be improved by bringing the simulations in the field and to increase the number of days </span></li>
<li><span style="text-align: justify;">The preparation of the simulation could be conducted together with PCD officials, in order to make the events simulated more realistic, and doing so to create a core team of specialists in the PCD that can take over and have control during the period of the simulation in the use of the 3 Information Management tools </span></li>
<li><span style="text-align: justify;">There is already talk of the next simulations, to be extended to larger groups, in which the 33 who participated in these activities may be facilitators along with WFP and geoSDI Team in organizing the event and the conducting of the exercise.</span></li>
